Interior design project and art direction of a Barber Shop in Dolo (Venice).

Originally the space where the barber shop had to be opened was a void open space, that we saw as a blank page, in need to be personalized. The only detail that we kept (along with our partner office Spazio24pro, in charge of the architectural project) was the false ceiling with recess lights, positioned right were we decided that the haircut stations had to be placed. We decided to keep it not only to better define such an important area of the shop, but also to make it become the key-detail of the project, since it is well visible from the outside also. Therefore we emphasized it with a custom wallpaper displaying a vintage world map: a subject that inspired us very much and that was complementing really well the overall vintage look that we wanted the shop to have, with the furniture, lighting fixtures, styling elements that we picked.
